Mr. Jones is a highly skilled, technical and computer orientated design technician that assists engineers visualize their thoughts using computer programs and other drafting medias. With over 35 years experience in the civil engineering field, Chuck has experience in preparing, designing and drafting plans in an array of multi-discipline engineering forms including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Sheet Metal and Electronics.
Mr. Jones was employed for fourteen years as a Senior Designer by Schoor Depalma, Inc., now CMX Engineering, in Manalapan, NJ until moving to Florida. At Schoor Depalma, he operated as a consultant to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the Traffic Engineering Department, as well as preparing plans for the Transportation Group.
In 2001, Mr. Jones and his wife decided to move to Florida where he continued his career as a design technician with Hole Montes as a Senior Design Technician. Mr. Jones worked with Hole Montes for six years designing and rendering company projects through AutoCAD® programming. At Hole Montes, he designed several projects including: Corkscrew Road, East Terry Street, Imperial Street and Livingston Road. Additionally, he participated in the development of the Leeway parking system, prepared Method of traffic Protection (MOT) plans and designed and oversaw construction for the new signage for the Airport Commerce Park (old RSW airport).
In 2008, Mr. Jones joined Source, Inc. as Engineering Technician. Mr. Jones is responsible for the AutoCAD drafting and Design of various projects. In this position, he has been involved in projects consisting of roadway geometry, storm water drainage, grading design, and is experienced in all aspects of project, Chuck’s projects at Source, Inc. have included
