QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

      Martin Owens enjoys over 40 years experience in the field of civil engineering. His experience includes both design and construction. Following military service, he secured a position as an engineering technician with a major Midwest consulting firm. With this firm, he was actively engaged in design and construction observation of major projects including water and wastewater treatment facilities.

      Relocating to Florida with a nationally-recognized consulting firm, Mr. Owens assumed the duties of design engineer on many projects including land development roads, water treatment and wastewater treatment and disposal.

      Mr. Owens is responsible for all field engineering services at Source, Inc., as well as design of utility systems. He is especially qualified and skilled in construction contract administration, field investigations, specification writing and inspection services. As a former licensed contractor, he is familiar with all construction procedures, including soil improvements, excavation, materials handling, equipment utilization, project scheduling, cost evaluation and negotiations.

  Design, permitting and construction observation of a 0.50 mgd wastewater treatment facility.

• Greater Pine Island Water Association
  Construction observation and coordination for 3.0 mgd water treatment plant

• Kelly Greens Golf Course Community
  Construction observation and coordination for a multi-use residential golf course community.

• Cross Creek Community Association
  Construction coordination for additions to an existing wastewater facility.

• Gulf Utility Company Three Oaks WWTP
  1.5 mgd design, permitting and construction services.

• City of Cape Coral Master Pump Station
  Relocation of 12.0 mgd wastewater pumping station and force main construction services; field review and inspections.

• Shell Point Woodlands
  Field engineering Project Manager for site layout and infrastructure development for major addition to Shell Point retirement village.
